Charles W. Pettingill was a Greenwich Rotarian and the 54th President of Rotary International. The district created the Outstanding Club Award in his honor. Assistant Governors select one club from among applications submitted by clubs. The selection committee looks for excellance in all the arenues of service as well as Public Image and support of The Rotary Foundation. Under current rules an individual club can only win this pretigious award once every three years.
