Summary of District 7980 Awards
Each of our 61 Rotary Clubs will be evaluated by their Assistant Governors to determine if their Clubs have met or exceeded their goals in each of the Five Avenues of Service since July 1st. Qualifying Clubs will be recognized in front of record crowds at the District Conference and District Assembly in May.
In addition, the District Governor and the Assistant Governors will jointly recognize an outstanding Rotarian from each of the 12 areas in D7980 with the District Governor Citation.
The competitive Charles W Pettengill Outstanding Club Award and the Edward T Osterman Outstanding smaller Club Award are available for clubs as are the Donald A Adams Award and the Abraham I Gordon Award for indivduals who wish to apply for them. - Significant Club Achievement Recognition - this is a Club Recognition which recognizes the Clubs who have met or exceeded their goals for the current Rotary year since July 1, 2014 in the avenues of service and The Rotary Foundation. <more information>
